Public Art: Piano on the Plaza

As part of the Piano on the Plaza public art initiative, I partnered with the Arts Council of Princeton to transform an upright piano into an interactive work of public art displayed in Princeton's downtown plaza.

The design features a vibrant collage of influential blues and jazz pianists, celebrating the artists whose innovation and creativity transformed American music. By bringing these portraits into a public gathering space, the project invited visitors of all ages to engage with the history of jazz, reflect on its cultural impact, and experience art as part of everyday community life.

This project reflects my broader practice of using public art, storytelling, and design to connect history, culture, and education in accessible ways.
